Introduction
Zac and Crystal met as teenagers in 8th grade. What started as a strong friendship blossomed into a serious relationship by High School. The resolve of their relationship was tested and strengthened for four long years when they attended different universities.
They reunited after completing their undergraduate studies and made their home in Northridge, California. They were engaged a few months later after beginning their graduate studies. A few months after their 7-yr dating anniversary, they were married in San Clemente, California on August 11, 2001.
To mark their anniversary, they decided to spend August 11 away from home at a new destination. For their first anniversary, they hiked the woodlands of the Santa Fe forest in New Mexico. Their second anniversary found them abroad in Nice, France as part of their European Holiday. With limited vacation flexibility, they still managed a short trip to San Diego to celebrate their third anniversary. And then after only a few years, they broke tradition on their fourth anniversary. Crystal was eight months pregnant, and with the forthcoming leaves of absence planned, a vacation just wasn't practical. Nonetheless, they enjoyed a romantic dinner and walk along the beach in Malibu, California.
They have a son, Camden, and are currently awaiting the birth of their second child, expected in early July 2007.

I currently work for Countrywide Financial Corporation in the Pipeline and Inventory Risk Management group. Countrywide is the country's leading mortgage bank with approximately $500 billion of annual mortgage origination and a $1 trillion mortgage servicing portfolio. Our group manages the interest-rate risk of the mortgage origination and pipeline.
Prior to joining Countrywide, I attended the Anderson School of Business at UC Los Angeles, earning an MBA (Masters of Business Administration), with a specialization in Finance. I have also completed the three-year CFA program.
In addition to an MBA, I hold a Masters degree in Computer Science from UC Los Angeles , and Bachelor degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science Engineering from UC Berkeley.
My interests are quantitative finance, computer programming, and mechanical design. Previous occupations include stints at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Boeing/Rocketdyne (recently acquired by Pratt and Whitney), Walt Disney Imagineering, Caterpillar/Solar Turbines, and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

Camden was named after a tube stop in London, Camden Town, which is just a stop away from our good friends' apartment in Kentish Town.
